The means to the End Continued...

We are all involved as believing children and as hybrid new creations we exist in two distinct realms both of which are available to us - this present transient (gk. proskairos ) world and based on the 'already' scriptures we have indeed access to the powers and the reality of the world to come. This reality is accessed by our spirit - we will discuss this in detail in due course

Heb 12:23 ..to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,

In 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “…your whole spirit, soul, and body…” St Paul here distinguishes the three unique parts of human nature and its quite revealing! Paul who had been caught up to the third heaven, encountered God, and as we shall see later these events always leave infinitely more than we understand at the time because His heavenly realm has a different dynamic and when we are touched by His Holy presence as Jesus said "with God nothing is impossible"!) much more happens to us than we could ever realise.

Jesus said God is Spirit and when God breathed into Adam because God is eternal Adam and subsequently all of us became eternal.

Numbers 27:15 Then Moses spoke to the Lord, saying: “Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh...

Zech 12:1 Thus says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him

Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding

History has got a bit mixed up with this and tries to assign the soul to the spirit although the soul is intellect, will and emotions. There's a theory that the sub-conscious is the last part of God that was left after the fall of man (the declaration of independence from the perfection of relationship with The Father and this is resident in the spirit).

We see that sometimes because of this phenomena two dynamics can be correct (Calvinism and Armenianism) are an example one is initiated in Earth and the other is initiated in Heaven but with a mutual outcome that is the beginning of eternal life in the new believer. Throughout Scripture when God anoints He interacts with the spirit of a person if it was just an emotional interaction it would dissipate according to circumstances so we know that it cant be just a 'soulish' type experience. Jesus said "the words that I speak to you they are Spirit and they are Life"

So we know its a tall order but lets work back from where we know we shall be together in our personal relationship with the Living God through His Son Jesus Christ and to build on our eternal mutuality. Collectively each one of us is a full member of the body of the Glorified Christ there will be no denominational peculiarities

Its a lovely subject to explore and we would also welcome edifiying (contributors)
